The Kerner 16' Vigeur is a car in Just Cause 4.
Appearance[]
The 16' Vigeur is a luxury sedan, similar in concept to its predecessor, the '13 Vigueur.
Rico likes this car, as when he enters he says things like "Nice ride." and "I like this one."
The interior is luxurious with a wooden-looking instrument board and a screen in the middle. It has additional screens for people in the back seats. The interior also reveals that it has an automatic gearbox.
The name likely refers to the year number where the car is from, but strangely, the punctuation mark is now on the other side of the number.
The rear and sides resemble the Volvo S90 while the front and body shape resemble the fifth generation BMW 7 series and the Bentley Flying Spur.
Performance[]
The handling is excellent for driving at high speed, with no fishtailing/oversteer ever. The acceleration takes it to 100 km/h in a few seconds and reaches 180 km/h on almost any road. The acceleration becomes very slow past 200 km/h, making it difficult to reach 250 km/h even on the I-80. It performs best on medium-size roads where few vehicles can maintain 180 km/h with out destabilizing in some way.
The vehicle is sturdy enough to survive multiple high-speed collisions, but this is likely because any vehicle driven by Rico in JC4 is automatically heavier and more durable.
Driving on narrow countryside roads is not recommended, because there's normally not enough room to slow down at sharp turns, because of the high speed that this vehicle is optimized for.
Unlike for example the Prospero Shade, which stops instantly when the speed goes down to a few km/h, the 16' Vigeur will stay in motion nearly forever when the speed is 7 km/h, as long as there are no obstructions.
Locations[]
- In traffic.
- Can sometimes be found at random parking lots. There doesn't seem to be any set spawn point for this vehicle.
- Unlocked for supply drop by completing a stunt at some unknown location.
- The "Lose the Fuzz" random encounter provides this vehicle.
Trivia[]
- It's made by the Kerner company.
- Unlike Just Cause 3's '13 Vigueur, this vehicle is spelled with 1 "u".
- As a big high-end 4-door luxury car, it's a successor to the Fusilier Commander from JC1 and '13 Vigueur from JC3.
