The Kerner Serpente R is a sports car in Just Cause 3.
Description[]
It is a high-end, high-performance two door car, with the front fascia based on the Bentley Continental GT (namely the headlights and grille) and the rear-end inspirations from the 2001-2007 Aston Martin Vanquish. It's rims are directly taken from the Aston Martin Vantage too. It reads "V12 5.8T" on the boot lid which implies it has a turbocharged 5.8-litre V12 engine.
The Rebel drop description: "Kerner's top sports model, boasting speeds in excess of 250 km/h. Tuned for Drifting, this monster combines ferocious performance with best-in-class luxury."
See Weaponized Serpente for the armed version of this car.
Performance[]
It is very fast. Its acceleration belies its weight and size, and its high torque output means it can gather speed quickly in almost any situation on the road. Handling is decent, but it is more a fast cruiser than racer with a seemingly electronically limited top speed of 250km/h (155mph). Its only flaw in fast driving is its lack of ABS and grabby rear brakes that are prone to locking under anything more than light, progressive inputs. As the description states, it can be a great choice for drifting, with a good mix of RWD and power.
Locations[]
- Sometimes in traffic.
- At Granmatre Frigo's house. It can be assumed this belongs to Mario as he is seen working on a Mugello Raffinati Vitesse.
- At several more private houses.
- After bringing one to a garage, it can be called in at any time via rebel drop.
Trivia[]
- In the pre-announcement leaked screenshots it was called "Kensington Serpente R" and in later promotional materials "Kerner Serpente R12". These names are now Cut game content from Just Cause 3.
- "Serpente" means "snake" or "serpent" in Italian.
- It has a weaponized variant which is simply called "Weaponized Serpente".
- This vehicle is made by Kerner.
- The successor to this vehicle is the Kerner Serpente S in Just Cause 4.
