The Kousavá (or Kousavá Rifle) is a DLC weapon in Just Cause 3.

Description

As reported here, it was designed by a fan. It looks like the U-39 Plechovka, but without the stock and with added Scorpion claws and a tail.

The Rebel drop description states: "This scorpion's sting can be felt from 250 meters away. Rico's explosive-shelled little buddy was a gift from his biggest fan."

It somewhat resembles the marauder shotgun from Red Faction Guerilla.

Performance

To fire this weapon, it must be charged up for about half a second, giving it a rather slow fire rate.

This weapon is reasonably powerful and is able to destroy a CS Odjur in 6 shots.

The weapon has a fast projectile velocity and decent splash radius, which makes it useful while parachuting or stunting.

Locations

After buying the DLC, it becomes available at Rebel drop. The DLC costs 2.49 € at Steam.

Trivia

• "Kousavá" means "a biting one" in Czech.
• The scorpion shape is a reference to how the scorpion is the symbol of chaos in the Just Cause game series. It was even featured in the game logos.
• While this weapon has a unique design as part of downloadable content for Just Cause 3, there are other unique weapons in the game series.
