Kuala Jernih is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
It seems to be a standard Panau Military camp, consisting of standard buildings and arrangement, including a whole bunch of wooden barrack buildings, hangars, Guard Towers, a helipad, a lot of rubble lying around the base. However, the base has some notable vehicles: Both trucks in the Fengding EC series and a AH-33 Topachula on a landing pad.
The name means "Clear Rivermouth" in both Malay and Indonesian.
Tips[]
- Beware, as there is a sniper on the water tower.
- It's a good idea to take out the AH-33 Topachula on the helipad before doing anything else, because a random soldier may enter it and take off. This can happen once the soldiers start running around the base, while chasing the player.
Location[]
In the north-eastern part of the geographical district of Lautan Lama Desert, north of Sungai Remaja. One public road each are found on the east respective on the west side, and the base can be accessed from these via small dirt roads. Since the base is so close to both of these roads, reinforcements may come from there.

- The location name is completely unfitting, however, as a military base, it actually makes sense to use a seemingly unfitting name, because spies have a harder time figuring out what base is being referenced in documents. See code name (at wikipedia).
