The in-game map description states "A high reservoir of meltwater that feeds the Wanay rainforest below."
This is a lake on a mountain.
During Infestation in the Lake, there are many enemies here. The Black Hand are also here to fight the DLC enemies. During these DLC missions, these specific BH units are neutral to Rico, unless attacked.
