Description[]
The in-game map description states: "This lake is dense with salt from the surrounding salt flats."
This place is a natural body of saltwater comprised of 4 lakes. The smallest of the lakes is around 50 meters across while the largest of the lakes is around 460 meters across and can be noticeable on the map. The lakes are a greenish-yellow hue and somewhat opaque, this is due to the lake being dense with salt but despite this, Rico has no problem swimming in it. Lago Salado sits on a salt flat which is located in a basin with mountains surrounding the majority of the lake while the minority is bordered by train tracks. The lake is mostly barren with mostly rocks and small grass near the walls of the basin. Despite this, a variety of animals can be found with the "Bhuj" Goat, Llamas, Deer, and Birds are found here.
If a Black Hand train and an Army of Chaos train encounter each other near the lake, this relatively peaceful place can turn into a war zone.
Rarely, one of Javi's side missions, "A Crate Quandary" is available at the lake.
Location[]
Lago Salado is located in western Hatun Ukucha right on the border with Arena around 2 kilometers south-east of Gran Central and 2.3 kilometers south-west of Ojo del Desierto. 2 of the 4 lakes are in the Arena region. Train tracks can be found near the lake and trains occasionally pass by.

- Lago Salado translated to English is "Salty Lake".
- Before the region is captured, sometimes the Próspero Sky Crane used in A Crate Quandary will be Black Hand painted.
- This place is the only inland body of water in Solís where salt water can be found.
- The Hoverboard course "Sandy Salom" runs through the flats and into the desert biome.
- A flock of 7, low quality flamingos can be found at the southernmost lake. This is considered to be an easter egg.
