Manquswasi is an ancient ruin in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
The in-game map description states "These ruins recently featured on the popular show "Diego El Santo". Featured in the scene where Otorongo sacrifices Luciana."
This location has a large temple and a smaller one that seems to be barely in a shallow lake. In-universe it is likely that this lake wasn't there when the place was built.
There are 12 statues that pop up in the lake, each corresponding to an Ancient Statue. Each one appears when an ancient statue is unlocked. As such, this place can be used as a way to check progress on the statues. This also proves that the ancient technology includes some form of automated telecommunication.
Clipping under the map reveals that there is an empty space in what looks like the tomb area of other ruins, meaning at some point this may have been one of them. Or alternatively, that building object might always have that empty room with it and they didn't delete it in this one place. See also: Cut game content from Just Cause 4.
