Marshall is a character in Just Cause 2.
Personal information[]
Marshall is a middle-aged African American man. No other details are known about him.
Career[]
He is only seen at the beginning of the mission Welcome to Panau.
Marshall joined in The Agency at some point. He was the first casualty in the Panau case and did not live for too long, as his only spoken words were "Wow! The natives are restless!" Marshall was observed trying to defend the Agency's H-62 Quapaw by firing an assault rifle at their attackers as the Panau Military fired their flak cannons near Kem Gunung Dataran Tinggi. It is unclear what Marshall's role would have been in Panau, or what he specializes in. It's possible that he could have been a regular Agency field agent due to his outfit and equipment, or maybe a technological specialist - as he was seen transferring classified intelligence from his PDA to Rico's PDA.
Marshall wore a tan beret with a khaki uniform, a black undershirt and black boots. He wore a seemingly dirty black backpack with white stiches with chest straps to keep the backpack firm on his body. He was shot and wounded very early into the case, suffering critical injuries from gunshot wounds. His gunshot wounds appeared to have been hit the top of the head, the right wrist and shoulder, and his left forearm and upper arm. If it were not the gunshot wounds that killed him, then the fall from significant altitude would surely have killed him.
Maria mentions that he's dead even before the body hit the ground and sent Rico to recovered his PDA, which he accomplished while skydiving. Marshall's eyes and mouth are still open at this point, but that does not confirm him still being alive or conscious. It is not known if Marshall's body had ever been recovered. During the gameplay, while one can find the location where Marshall died, it is not possible to find his remains.

- The pilot of the H-62 Quapaw helicopter in Welcome to Panau reuses his model.
- It is possible that this could be another agent, but it is more likely the fact that the developers did not dedicate the pilot to have a separate character model. This was either an oversight, or done deliberately to save time and resources.
- He's one of the very few people, if not the only person, to have only a single line of dialogue in Just Cause 2.
- It is unknown who his voice actor is.
