Mech Charging Stations are sabotageable destructible objects in Just Cause 3 that appear only in the Mech Land Assault DLC.
Description[]
If the name is anything to go by, they charge Mechs. The mechs, just like cars, never actually run out of fuel/energy, so the stations are only useful in universe and not to the player.
The machine has 6 moving pistons at one end, which resemble the inside of a V6 internal combustion engine. In the middle are fragile parts which, if damaged, will blow up the station. The fragile parts are protected by shields on two sides.
Destructibility[]
They can only be destroyed if the side shield has been disabled using the mech's GRIP or a Power Core. At that point, any weapon can destroy it.
Locations[]
- 3 at Weapons Shipment Yard. Two of them are at the opposite ends of a dark brown metal shack. The shack contains two mech parking spaces and a dispenser for Power Cores.
- 2 at the underground part of the Black Hand airport where you first arrive at Insula Lacrima. These will respawn if the player returns later.
- 3 inside the Hive during the mission Storming the Hive.
