Negeri Gandin is a military base in Just Cause 2.

Description[]

The base is basically a main forest camp. It has no SAM sites, so attacking the base from the air is most likely the best option to take it out. Beware of the sniper on the water tower. The base has got a lot of hangars, wooden barracks and wooden Guard Towers.

There is at least one Medicine cabinet found here.

A dirt road enters the base on its western side, but the dirt road on the eastern side has no gate. The road just ends at a fence. The western road spawns civilian vehicles who drive to the middle of the base. Standing outside the western gate, it is possible to see how the civilian vehicles stop and turn around when they get about 100 m outside the base.

Trivia[]

  • This base is unusual in terms of vehicles:
    • Civilian vehicles drive around in the base as part of a bug.
    • The H-62 Quapaw that shows up as air support seems to instantly spawn outside the base perimeter and starts dropping paratroopers. Usually H-62 Quapaws approach from a short distance away.
    • Most Chepachet PVDs are marked red, but the one at this base is marked green.
    • The Maddox FVA 45 that spawns at this base is unique. It is marked green and as such does not give heat when seen by the military. As such, this is one of only two armed vehicles in this game with that peculiar feature. It is highly unusual why this is so, considering it still has Ular logos. Even the usual green-marked yellow Ular Boys versions still gives pre-heat when Rico is on the stunt position, or driving. The vehicle is still painted yellow.
