Ojo De La Jungla is a location in Just Cause 4.

Description[]

In-game map description: "This radar base's purpose is unclear. Some believe it eavesdrops on the untrustworthy inhabitants of the Selva Allpa."

It is almost exactly like Ojo de la Pradera, but without a cable car system.

Another difference is its location in the rain forest biome. It has a big set of satellite dishes and 3 missile launchers. These missile launchers are used as ramps in the mission.

The mountain is split in the middle by a canyon that has constant wind in it. The bottom is at sea-level and has water flowing through. The western end of this "river" has a Emsavion Airship wreck.

The base mostly consists of privates (replaced by elites if a new game+), but there are a few machine gunners, riot shielders and snipers. Note the privates (or elites if NG+) and the riot shielders will always respawn (usually out of the player's sight but in their vicinity).

Equipment[]

This is among the larger bases and as such has a large amount of equipment.

Location[]

In Islas Machaqwayes, on a mountain on the eastern coast. This is the only settlement in the region.

Completion[]

  • 2 x Speed Stunt:
    • Pass through the ring faster than 130 km/h. On the bridge that leads to the island.
    • Pass through the ring faster than 250 km/h. North of the base and can only be done with an aircraft.
  • Wingsuit Stunt - Wingsuit through all rings in less than 20 seconds. This one is pretty difficult, if approached from the west. The trick is to approach from the east.

Trivia[]

  • See Ojo de la Pradera and Ojo del Desierto for nearly identical bases.
  • Just what specific area is known as "Selva Allpa" is unknown. It likely refers to an area bigger than a single settlement.
    • "Selva" means "jungle" in Spanish, and "Allpa" means "land" in Quecha, so it translates to "Jungle Land". This could be referring to the entire Jungle area of Solís, or just a portion of it.
  • Mira Morales can be found here during free roam in the base once Jungla Scatter is completed and the region is secured for the Army of Chaos. This is simply a NPC that has Mira's character model and can be killed, unlike the real Mira.
