Pekan Jalan Pokok is a village in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
It's a small village, consisting of a bunch of ancient sandstone houses and a water tower. It has electric street lamps and a letter box. It's located at a crossroads where the road from Sungai Curah military base joins the road connecting the Sawah river delta with the Lautan Lama Desert area. Accordingly, this important junction is controlled by three Panau Military Checkpoints, one at each road. Just like many other villages in the area, this one resembles real-life villages and towns in the middle-east.
The name means "Tree Road Town" in Malaysian and "Main Street Town" in Indonesian.

Location[]
In the south-eastern part of the Lautan Lama Desert, between Kampung Gunung Merah and Kampung Danau Lengkong. It's located relatively close to a river, but the riverbanks are quite steep, so there's not much chance for transport by boat.
