Pelantar Gas Panau Barat is an offshore gas rig in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
It's a standard Panauan offshore rig, looking exactly the same as the rest.
It's located in the first exploited panuan oil field, but most of its income is natural gas. The rig itself looks exactly like the other rigs. Pipelines from both rigs here lead to the nearby Port Gurun Lautan Lama.
The name means "West Panau Gas Platform" in Malaysian.

West of the Lautan Lama Desert, just south of Pelantar Minyak Gerudi Besar.

Completing this specific rig is fine, but if you are at this oil and gas field the first time, do not go to the neighbouring Pelantar Minyak Gerudi Besar oil rig and destroy it. Doing so would make a mission undoable!
