The rig looks exactly the same as the other rigs and has the same equipment. The name means "North Panau Gas Platform" in Malaysian. This rig and the other rig in the area, Pelantar Gas Pandak Panay, extracts gas from the largest natural gas field in Panau, the West Tanah Raya Gas Field.
