Perla del Desierto is a settlement in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
Quote from the map marker: "One of the oldest settlements in the desert, known for an annual festival that wards off demons."
It's a small town on the northern coast of the desert area.
The town consists of about 20 to 30 houses (some of them are built against each other), including a small Espetrol fuel station at its western end.
The town is unusual for having a large number of parked vehicles and unusually many pedestrians.
Location[]
It's the next settlement eastward from Puerto Diego (north west corner of Solís). Despite being at the coast, there's no beach here. The town is separated from the sea by high cliffs.
Completion[]
- Wingsuit Stunt - pass through the rings under 20 seconds. Located on the mountain south-west of the town.
- Speed Stunt - pass through the ring faster than 85 km/h. Located on the northern edge of town, right behind a ramp-trailer. This leads off of a high cliff.
Vehicles[]
There are several parking lots and a few other spots that spawn single vehicles. Some of them spawn random vehicles, but the following can be depended on:
- Some Prisa X-2 Bikes.
- 2 x Ranchero Trucks.
- 2 x Prisa Frescas.
There is also a road passing through the town with constant traffic and a railroad not too far south of here.
Trivia[]
- Downloadable content for Just Cause 4 included an expansion pack that focused on demons, but this town ultimately didn't have a role in it. Considering its description however, it's reasonable to assume that this settlement might've been a part of it during development. Perhaps this festival works, as no infestations appear in the desert.
