Pierce, also known as Crashie, is a character in Just Cause 3.

Career[]

He is a member of the Agency and Tom Sheldon's pilot during the events of Just Cause 3.

Mission "Welcome Home"[]

He is first seen piloting the Urga U17 Akrobat which brings Rico to Medici during the mission Welcome Home. He and Sheldon both survived the journey, though the plane's fate is unknown.

He actually has a CommLink image (the picture displayed in the corner of the screen when someone is calling Rico). It's only seen in this mission and only if the plane takes 10+ hits from a SAM. He will inform Rico that they have lost an engine over the CommLink. Most players are unlikely to hear this because it can only happen if the player is incredibly slow to destroy the SAMs and it doesn't even play every time.

Mission "Friends Like These..."[]

In the mission Friends Like These..., Pierce is sitting on an ammunition crate asleep in Cava de Rebelles while Sheldon talks to Mario Frigo and other rebels when Rico arrived. Crashie apparently mentioned to Sheldon at some point that "We all have to do our part".

Mission "Conflicting Interests"[]

Soon after Friends Like These..., at the end of the mission Conflicting Interests, Pierce is sitting in a café (asleep again) with Tom when Rico arrives.

Mission "Missile Cowboy"[]

In Missile Cowboy, after Rico secures Insula Fonte, Dimah will come in over Rico's PDA stating that "Rico! Sheldon's pilot just picked me up in a helicopter. Th-there is a problem! We are coming to get you!" Crashie then takes Rico and Dimah to Cima Leon: Silo, where Rico jumps off in the Fast Travel fashion. This is the only time Crashie can be seen as a "Fast Travel pilot."

Mission "Connect the Dots"[]

In Connect the Dots, he flew a Rebellion Urga Hrom D helicopter with smoke coming out of its vents to the Pointe Laurino lighthouse, where Tom and Rico are meeting. Tom briefly interrupts Rico and compliments Pierce on his flying and, in response, Pierce thanks him before entering the lighthouse as Rico angrily scolds Sheldon for being distracted.

He is never seen again after Connect the Dots.

Trivia[]

  • Although he is introduced as "Crashie" by Tom, his real (first) name is revealed in the subtitles.
  • Although it appears he is certified to fly aircraft (he is seen flying a plane and a helicopter), he does not fly the fast travel Eubus Eagles, save for the one time in Missile Cowboy. It's unknown why this is, even if Sheldon told Rico in Friends Like These... "Y'see, you save them, they help me, I help you travel from place to place, heh heh!"
  • He always wears headphones.
