Pointe Laurino is a peninsula in Just Cause 3.
Name[]
The name of the peninsula is revealed at two places, and in one piece of dialogue:
- The in-game map description for Albeto Pero calls this place "Point Laurino".
- Tom Sheldon calls it "Pointe Laurino" during Connect the Dots.
- A roadsign near the lighthouse says "Pointe Laurino".
"Pointe" fits the Medician language a little better.
Description[]
Geography[]
It is a large peninsula located inside the town of Albeto Pero, with a dirt road running the length of it. Near the end it splits off into two points. There are two small islands along the peninsula, one at the end of the southern point, and the other near the middle, within jumping distance from the land. This island strangely has seaweed and an underwater sand texture on it. At the eastern end, there is a beach on both sides of the peninsula, the southern being considerably larger and occupied by civilians. Towards the end, the land gets higher and more cliff like, even going vertical in places.
Man made features[]
At one of the points is a lighthouse, along with a beacon and flare supply crate, a Rebel Shrine and a memorial to Joseph Carmen Laurino. This is the starting location for Connect the Dots. The other point contains a wooden dock, never used by ships, but occasionally by fishermen. At the end of the peninsula are the remains of an old Salrosan star fort.
Vehicles[]
- Traffic only spawns while the player is at the western end of the peninsula.
- 1x Urga Hrom D during the mission Connect the Dots.
