The Poloma Renegade is a pick-up in Just Cause 2.
Appearance[]
The Poloma Renegade is a sporty pick-up that resembles a 1980s Ford Durango and 1970s Holden Kingswood Ute with a 1969 Mercury Cougar front.
As this vehicle is an Agency vehicle, this vehicle can only be seen in black.
This car could also be classified an old-fashioned "ute".
Performance[]
The Renegade starts with the armor of a civilian car but its armor does get better as you level it up. When upgraded to level 6 it becomes equipped with a rocket launcher in addition to the initial dual machine gun.
For a pick-up, it is very speedy and has a nice acceleration and a surprisingly high top speed of about 170km/h (meausured and calculated) - the Panau Military will be sitting in the dust. The Poloma Renegade can quickly navigate through corners, thanks to its tight steering radius. In a nutshell, it is a great car. However, the armor is not very good before you upgrade it to two stars or three stars. In a slightly ironic way, the vehicle has poor performance when it comes to off-road driving.
How to obtain[]
Rico can only obtain this vehicle from the Black Market, where it costs $50,000 and is unlocked at 255,000 chaos points.
Trivia[]
- Besides DLC, the other vehicles that are also only available through the Black Market are the Hedge Wildchild and Shimuzu ATV 110. In the case of the latter, it is just a Shimuzu Tracline with a different name, but the vehicle is still exclusive to the Black Market.
- In Just Cause 2 Multiplayer, it is actually possible to spawn this vehicle without any weapons. In the buy menu, it will simply say "Poloma Renegade," while the one with machine guns (the actual level one version in the single player) will be called "Poloma Renegade (MG)."
