Porto Tridente is a military port in Just Cause 3.
Description[]
It's the one of the biggest military ports in Medici, the largest being Porto Vena. It's shaped like a trident. It is also the biggest base by map area, able to engulf almost all of Aspera.
According to the in-game map: "Medici's oldest harbor, Porto Tridente was long considered Medici's window to France and Spain. Now it's a window to nowhere, serving only to launch the zealous Medician fleet on endless patrols for pirates, rebels, and spies."
The name means "Port Trident" in Italian.
At the back of the port (facing the mainland) is a massive concrete building, which seems to be a submarine pen (a special armored dock for submarines that's meant to protect them from air attack), but strangely this building has holes in the roof, so the purpose is unknown.

Location[]
Along the north-west coast of Insula Striate, the largest island, in the Maestrale province. The trident shape makes it stand out on the map.
Completion[]
- 2 Circuit Breaker.
- 1 Core Electrical Unit.
- 3 Doppler Radars.
- 6 Distillation Towers.
- 16 Fuel Tanks.
- 2 Satellite Dishes.
- 3 Sphere Tanks.
- 7 Transformers.
- 1 Water Tower.
When liberating this port, the military will call in an air strike. When this happens, 2 U-7 Dravecs and 2 CS7 Thunderhawks will do bombing runs. This is the only base that will call in air support via fixed wing aircraft. The port has multiple SAMs which can be hacked, but the missiles launched from them can barely catch planes that fast. It's advised to just grapple around a lot and try to get them to blow up some of their own equipment. Be extremely careful when grappling around, as when they drop their payload, they do not leave a red mark unlike most explosion radiuses.
Tip: You normally have to be careful as the bombers normally bomb fuel tanks, which can kill you, but most of the time you don't have to worry as they do more damage to Porto Tridente than to you.
Vehicles[]
All Medici Military vehicles are replaced by Rebellion versions after completion.
