Prospero Astillero is a military shipyard in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
The map description states: "This automated shipyard produces vessels for the Black Hand and for foreign powers willing to pay for naval supremacy."
It's a massive industrial port for the Black Hand, even larger than Puerto Málaga. The middle of the facility has a large, military-style reinforced concrete building that could serve as some kind of command center. There are also at least 6 guard towers.
Próspero is the weapon and vehicle manufacturing company owned by Oscar Espinosa. Prospero Astillero manufactures military boats.
Location[]
This military port is at the mouth of the Río Wanay in the north-east of the country in the rainforest biome, but also in the center of a large swamp that makes it difficult to reach by boat. It is also the only base in the swamp.
Completion[]
- Vehicle Stunt - Pass through the ring in a Dondequiera Fanboat.
- Wingsuit Stunt - Wingsuit through all rings in less than seven seconds.
- Speed Stunt - Pass through the ring faster than 200 km/h.
- Solís Pro Tour Stunt - Pass through the ring in a Prisa Temerario ATV. This one isn't necessary for the base completion, but it does contribute to 200% game completion and it is located at this base.
Vehicles[]
- Many Daggershark Jetboats, some being sailed.
- Five Stormwater Patrol Boats, a few being sailed.
- Some Armadillo Forklifts.
- One Firebrand Scout Chopper and two Spectre Attack Helis.
- One Warrior Offroader (may not appear).
Trivia[]
- This location was first seen in a pre-launch gameplay video by YaraskyPlays, a Dutch Youtuber.
- "Prospero Astillero" translates to "Prosperous Shipyard" in Spanish.
- Mira Morales can be found here during freeroam at the main gate once Astillero Blackout and the region is secured for the Army of Chaos. This is simply a NPC that has Mira's character model and can be killed, unlike the real Mira.
- The Army of Chaos guards using binoculars in watchtowers seem to be bugged, as they are completely invincible and seemingly can't be moved at all, as if they are locked in that animation. Reportedly this glitch has been seen at other places too. See also: Just Cause 4 Bugs and glitches.
- To the north of Prospero Astillero is a smaller island with an outpost. The outpost consists of a helipad with a Spectre Attack Heli, a guard tower, a Daggershark Jetboat at the south shore, a few red barrels and more.
