Pulau Ombak Ribut is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
The base is a typical forest camp. The inner base consists of 7 wooden barrack buildings; 3 steel hangars; some Guard Towers and other small structures. The inner part is surrounded by a thin fence. One of the only special things about this base, other than that Colonel Relutzu is stationed here, is a SAM launcher, which is rare for a forest camp. A two spot helicopter landing pad can be found just outside of the fence, to the west. One of the spots is occupied by an AH-33 Topachula.
About a kilometer to the south-west of the base, at Kampung Pantai Kelabu, is the military base outpost guarding the road to the base. There's nothing special there, other than a Minigun, if you need one.
In Indonesian the rough translation of the name is "Noisy Waves Island", however in Malaysian it means "Stormy Wave Island". This could be related to the settlement being located on an island in the "rapid flow" of the Sawah River (which techically isn't a river).
