Pulau Panau Kecil is a military base in Just Cause 2.
Description[]
The base is the largest in the Pelaut Archipelago and one of the three actual military bases in the district (the other bases, Loji Bahan Bakar Fossil and Bandar Lombong Besi are industrial facilities). Though the base is very compact, it consists of a whole bunch of the usual bunker buildings, hangars, a helicopter landing pad, and many other things. Many of the bunker buildings are located so close to each other, that it would be almost impossible to acess the doors. The mission Breaking and Entering takes place here. The base is located in the north-east islands of the district.
Note that the restricted area strangely extends all the way to the second of the two islands located at X:26919 Y:8198, northwest of the base. This might be intended, as in real life military bases also guard over the water surrounding the base, but it's probably a glitch or map design error.
One of the hangars is enterable and has two elites wielding shotguns inside it.
The base has a small number of soldiers and several good vehicles, so this is a recommended place to visit.
The name means "A small bright spot of the island" in Malay and Indonesian.

Trivia[]
- One of the MV Quartermasters only appears here during Breaking and Entering.
- It's not known why there are 7 broadcast towers here. That is an unusually large amount for any base. Even Panau Military radar facilities don't have that many broadcast towers.
- With 6 crates of missiles, this place is very helpful in accumulating chaos quickly, with 240 chaos points accumulated if you destroy them simultaneously with 6 Triggered Explosives. That being said, don't be near them when you destroy them as their explosive power is extremely lethal to anyone, including Rico.
