Pulau Penjala is a small village in Just Cause 2.

Description

This settlement is a village on an island of its own in the influential area of the Ramai Rakyat Islands.

The village covers most of the island that it is on. There is a set of fishing docks at the western part of the settlement and a lighthouse on the eastern beach. A small additional dock, pointing west, is near the lighthouse.

Due to being moderately far from the other islands, there's a very small chance of any military showing up here, so killing civilians through the use of guns or explosives will trigger heat, but hardly any YP-107 Phoenixes show up.

The name means "Fisher's Island" in Malay, indicating that this is primarily a fishing community.

Location

This settlement is in the sea in the middle of Panau, more specifically in the Ramai Rakyat Islands. It is located to the east of the Panau International Airport, to the north of the offshore rig Pelantar Gas Telok Panau, and to the north-west of Pulau Berapi.

Vehicles

There is a small dirt track running around the island, but no vehicles spawn on this island. There are 4 piers/docks, but no boats, so the people here seem to be stranded, or dependent on some boat(s) that just are not here when ever Rico visits.

To get off the island, you must either buy a boat/aircraft from the Black Market, or hijack a boat by swimming out to sea. It is also possible to get an extraction to this island, providing that you have discovered the settlement prior to doing this.
