Puncta Sud is a military base in Just Cause 3.
Description[]
It's a medium-to-large communications base at the southern tip of the province of Petra. It looks similar to Vigilator Nord and Vigilator Sud, but unlike them, it has Antenna Towers instead of Radar Spires. The base has several communications masts to be destroyed, as well as a large SATCOM Dish.
Like many other bases, it's built on the ruins of an Ancient Medici fortress.

The in-game map description states: "Occupying the southernmost tip of Insula Dracon's Petra province, Puncta Sud is a major telecommunications hub for the General's regime. All decoding, encryption, and black market brokering between Medici and other rogue nations flows through its many antennas."
This place gets two Urga Hrom Ds for air support. Whilst liberating this base, 2 Urga Raceks might appear. One of the pilots is armed with a UPM61 or Automat U12 or U-96 Kladivo or CS110 Archangel or any other non-standard Medici Military weapon. However, if you drag him out of the chopper and he survives the fall to the ground, he doesn't actually fire the weapon for some strange reason.

- In Romanian, Puncta Sud translated literally is "Pointing South".
- There is a sign on the area of the SATCOM Dish that reads off "Vigilator Nord".This is likely a mistake that was made during the development of the game, It should have read off "Puncta Sud".
