Puquchi is a settlement, or actually a group of settlements, in Just Cause 4.

Description[]

The in-game map description states "The land in Delta Río Wanay is difficult to farm, but this one has seen some success."

The settlement consists entirely of slum houses, but it's extremely well detailed. The settlement name area actually consists of 4 different settlements.

South center settlement[]

The biggest settlement is in the south center. It consists of about 18 to 40 houses, depending on how they're counted. The houses are built against eachother, so at times it's hard to tell what should be counted separately.

There's 1 dirt road going through the middle of this settlement and the settlement is surrounded by agricultural fields. It's unknown what they're trying to grow here as the fields have at least 3 distinct types of plants growing on them.

Local points of interest:

  • A little to the south-west of this settlement, towards a lake, is a weird floating umbrella between some trees. This is either some kind of a map design error / minor bug, or an easter egg.
  • There are two old-looking house ruins with in the settlement. Both of them are old enough to have small trees growing with in them. The same type of ruins can be seen at a few ancient ruins / tomb areas.
  • There are big piles of garbage on the side of the road and people are digging through the garbage, indicating that they must be extremely poor.
  • Wild pigs can be seen walking around in the southern side of the settlement.

North-west settlement[]

The next in size is the settlement in the north-west.

This village is notable for a number of rare and/or well detailed points of interest:

  • There are 3 trucks here, parked very close to buildings and items.
  • There's a party area with dancing women, a band and a grill.
  • Near the party is a woman in "SOLIS" sports clothing, who's practicing football tricks (kicking upwards, bouncing the ball off of herself, balancing the ball on herself).
  • There's a hidden shady spot in a sort of enterable building area that has 2 seats, a TV, a motorcycle and a number of beverages.
  • A small market that sells several types of foods.
  • The locals at this settlement also seem to be fond of their garbage, having a dump in settlement limits.

North-east settlement[]

This settlement is on a small island immediately next to the territory of the neighbouring Prospero Astillero. The settlement consists of 6-10 cheap houses and has multiple docks with several nautical vehicles. They also have their own outdoor market. The exposed tree roots on the trees here indicate frequent flooding.

South-east settlement[]

This settlement is also on a small island immediately next to the territory of the neighbouring Prospero Astillero. Acttually, this settlement is split on two small islands and most houses here are at least partly above water and built on pillars. The only item of interest here is their one boat.

Location[]

Northern coast of Delta Río Wanay (the north-east corner region), at the north-west of the region. Prospero Astillero shipyard is immediately east of here with no gap in between. The western two settlements here are on dry land and the eastern two are on small islands in the river delta.

Vehicles[]

There are something in the range of 20 random vehicles parked at random spots that spawn random vehicles. The following are consistently here:

Southern settlement:

North-west settlement:

North-east settlement:

South-east settlement:

Trivia[]

  • "Puquchi" means "banana" or "produce" in Quechua, but the location name is probably derived from the latter.
