Qacha Breakout is a mission in Just Cause 4.
Introduction[]
Quote from the map marker: "The Black Hand have drafted civilians to counter the Army of Chaos threat. Extract as many civilians as possible."
From a storyline point of view, this region is inconsequential and could easily be left until after the main storyline is complete.
Bring any weapon you want. While not mandatory, a rocket launcher / RPG would be useful as well.
Walkthrough[]
Rico arrives at Academia Qacha and Izzy informs him that there are three "re-education centers" where people are detained.
These three can be completed in any order.
The mission objective markers point out the detainment buildings. Each of them have a computer next to the door that opens the door. It's advised to take ones time and clear out the Black Hands from the area before opening the door. It's also advised to hack all the bases Huntsman SAM launchers. There are at least 3 of these.
Once a door has been opened, Rico throws them some weapons and tells them to shoot their way out. They won't follow Rico into any vehicle, so the most efficient way to do the mission is to run alongside them and defeat the enemies along the way.
These enemies include:
- An unnamed Black Hand colonel along with a Falconer AA Tank. This is near a gate.
- Several Bloodhound Siege Helis. These are too powerful to grapple to the ground, so this is why the hacked SAMs and the RPG are helpful. Alternatively, they can be eliminated by being hijacked. These were removed from this mission as of some patch.
- At least one Dropzone Chopper with snipers at the doors. This helicopter can be grappled to the ground.
- Several Firebrand Scout Choppers. These can also be grappled to the ground. These replace the Bloodhound Siege Helis as of some patch.
- A lot of additional Black Hand soldiers appear. Some will arrive by Warrior Offroaders and Cavalry Armored Trucks.
Each group of three freed people will go to some base gate. Two groups actually end up at the same gate.
Trivia[]
- This region strike is identical to Infierno Escape and Wanay Extraction. All three are about infiltrating a military base, freeing some prisoners and getting them out of the base alive.
- As of some patch, this mission no longer features Bloodhound Siege Helis as attacking helicopters. Firebrand Scout Choppers appear to replace them. This is likely because it did too much damage to the escapees, even with their insanely large amounts of health.
