Enormous radar dishes dominating bases.
Solino satellites[]
Satellite dishes obviously do not do anything without satellites. The Black Hand in JC4 have a number of dishes set up at their bases. Some of these are over 10 meters wide and others only a meter. Strangely most of the destructable dishes are officially radars in Solís.

Moon in a mountain[]
Main article: Moon in a mountain easter egg in JC4.
In universe this is likely the peak of the Solino Space Program and they seem to be using some type of wormhole technology (as was developed by the eDEN Corporation in JC3) to get this close view of the Moon. Breaking a window at the observatory actually allows Rico to teleport to the moon. Alternatively, they have captured a celestial body and managed to detain it in the mountain base. In either case, the moon is floating and there is no air in that area, as implied by the strong wind that occurs when the window is broken.
Agency satellite[]
Rico spots a satellite in Rogue Agent.
In the mission Rogue Agent, Rico looks over his shoulder and at the sky where a small star-like spot shines for a moment. It is implied by dialogue that this is an Agency satellite watching him.
Enormous radars pointed up[]
The largest type of Radars in Solís are modeled after real world radars that are used to monitor space. This is done for general science, but also to monitor the locations of satellites.

Although slightly irrelevant, below is a video of a YouTuber using ballistic missiles in an attempt to go to space (in the game obviously). He fails, though, proving that game limits prevent the player from flying too high using missiles.
