Solino cuisine refers to the cuisine of Solís, the nation featured in Just Cause 4.
Known dishes and drinks[]
Smaller settlements often have people barbecuing and cooking fish, steak, and sausages. These events normally also have plastic bottles of purple beverage.
Map marker description for Buwikuni states: "Known for its distinctive and trendy queso Buwikuni, used in arepas, tortas, and avocada tostadas all across Solís." "Queso" means cheese, "arepas" are a kind of maize flatbread, "tortas" means cakes and "avocada tostadas" means some kind of toast.
Civilians can often be seen sitting and drinking from the kind of a mug that is traditionally used for coffee.
Some towns have vending machines that sell "Soda Salate", which is a yellow beverage in a glass bottle. Interestingly, the advertisement for this exact beverage can be seen in Medici.
Tacos are known to be eaten, as advertised in Espetrol stations across the country. In fact, the Espetrol station in Zuñiga is reported to have the "Best tacos in Vaivenes".
Places to eat[]
Along with the above barbecuing, there are restaurants all over Solís. Some are labeled as just "Grill", but there's a chain of restaurants called "Casa Feliz" which can also be seen written on the side of Prisa Calzada Vans.
Along with restaurants, there are also some food stands sometimes displaying fish and fruits.
Some vendors sell fried fish from trailers on the street. These trailers contain 2 gas tanks that will make the trailer rocket-powered when damaged (see also small destructables). Strangely, the civilians who walk up to these light a cigarette and walk away smoking, so it appears that the trailers also sell cigarettes.
Various other shops to eat in include: Cervecerìa, which seems to both be a brewery and a restaurant; Salchichones, presumably a shop for meat-based meals; Empanadas, a fast food/fried food shop.
Alcoholism[]
There are drinks served on the Mile High Club and there are a number of bars all over Solís. Many hotels have an area with a "Beverages" sign, often with bartenders and civilians acting drunk. There are also beverages advertised all over Solís: a beer called "Pinguino" and "Licor Vivo" which is a liqueur. The city of Aguaclara seems to have some kind of beer culture, being that it has various breweries and advertisements to Pinguino.
Rico and Tom are seen drinking beer in mission cut-scenes, but they are foreigners.
The DLC vehicle SS Borracho makes a number of references to rum and the vehicles name means "drunk" in spanish.
