The Stormwater Patrol Boat is a vehicle in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
This vehicle is a large patrol boat similar in size to the CS Powerrun 77, but has a mounted turret on the front and a remote gun (displayed as "mortar") on the back.
Performance[]
Quite slow, but the weight allows to take lighter boats out of the way easily. It has decent handling. Its top speed is 85 knots, but it is hard to reach that without using grappler boosters to improve acceleration. It has turbo jump, but no built-in turbo boost.
The captain can drive the vehicle and control a "mortar". This is not really a mortar at all. It is instead a guided missile launcher that can fire missiles in the direction the reticle is aiming, or lock on to them. This feature means it can take out jets with ease, though locking on can be challenging. Because of the slow projectile speed and the way it aims, it is difficult to take out moving targets firing blindly. Also, since the missile climbs up before moving towards the actual target, make sure there is not anything above you while firing. It has 50 rockets (unlimited in the Thunderbarge).
A gunner can use the machine gun on top to attack targets on foot or other unarmored boats when they are too close. It has 1600 rounds. If the boat doesn't have a gunner, Rico can switch to the gunner seat from stunt position.
It is moderately armored and can sustain 1-3 explosive shells before it blows up and sinks.

- Spawns at some captured Black Hand naval bases.
- Unlocked for supply drop by completing one of the Prospero Balística (region Abundancia) boat stunts.
Thunderbarge[]
Main article: Thunderbarge.
This version is unique and was constructed by the Army of Chaos during the missions leading up to the capture of Zona Dos. This vehicle started out as a captured Black Hand patrol boat and was then given an Ion Coil and improved weaponry. See its main article for full details.
Trivia[]
- The "mortar" on the back is actually a rocket launcher in terms of design and operation. However, because of its unique tracking method instead of using just homing-based missiles, it can be said to have mixed properties from both a mortar and a rocket launcher.
