Dropzone (Zone de Largage)[]

JC4 Dropzone (Zone de Largage)

Someone reported that the french language PC version of the game apparently has a mission marker labeled as "Zone de Largage" on a hill near Promesas. This does not appear in the english language version of the game and needs confirmation.

  • The "Dropzone" is a place where the Just Cause game series started, with the mission Devil's Drop Zone.
  • Later, Just Cause 2 was programmed to have a folder in the games main file directory named "Dropzone". If any file is placed there, the game will always accept that over any other. This makes modifying very convenient.

I just tried converting my game into French in Steam, going to that rough location, and nothing popped up.
I feel like this may have just been a French counterpart to the random encounters, but I cannot be certain. Anonymous230385 Any questions? Wanna talk? 03:46, May 16, 2020 (UTC)
OK then. I'm gonna assume it was modded. GMRE (talk) 14:25, May 16, 2020 (UTC)

You don't belong here easter egg[]

JC4 You don't belong here

RicoStar

I activated a mod to go under water for an extended amount of time without dying. I traveled the ocean floor for months searching for whatever could possibly be hidden below. One day randomly trying a stunt I decided to check out the ocean floor where I currently was at. As I went to the bottom I saw triangular designs in the floors edge and thought to myself that i had seen a lot but hadnt seen that yet. I continued along an area that was kinda errie because it was at the bottom of the ocean floor near a rock wall that went down to the ground for hundreds of feet,  Each layer of the rock wall in that area had almost circular indents in the rock. As I swam along the edge of this steep rock wall at the ocean floor I started to see an opening in the rock wall to a possible secret chamber. At the time, I was thinking it was just a glitched opening but feeling it wasnt almost immediately. As the room opened up it was noticeably an enclosed space with a message on the ground. It was a note to whoever would get there with mod or not. "You Dont Belong Here". It might be possible to get there without a mod due to Just Cause having crazy stuff happening. Possible to maybe get there without dying.  I made an easter egg video an hour after finding it and shared it with the Just Cause 4 twitter site. No one got back to me so instead I thought id contact this site directly , to hopefully see what I found. In my lifetime I had never found an  easter egg on my own entirely so it was so cool being there to see it.  I wanted to pass this on because im a huge fan of the game and finding this was a life high for me. Thanks for reporting. I'll rename the picture and add it to the article. GMRE (talk) 15:18, July 28, 2020 (UTC)

Page locked?[]

I don't understand why this page is locked. Can we unlock it? Anonymous1234abc (talk) 01:29, September 14, 2020 (UTC)

I guess I could. It's because this page was vandalized more frequently. GMRE (talk) 17:17, September 14, 2020 (UTC)

Cool. I don't think there's any more vandalism. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 04:48, September 28, 2020 (UTC)

Um...[]

@GMRE Why did you remove that image? I mean, it's not especially important and if it didn't exist I wouldn't bother to upload it, but since another editor uploaded it, I added it to the article. So... why? Anonymous1234abc (talk) 05:09, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

I removed a red file link. It wasn't displayed as a picture. That happens when a file is deleted (or renamed with out a link) and the link leads nowhere. GMRE (talk) 16:51, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
Huh? But I thought that was a thing linking to File:View of villanueva from Mile High Club (JC4).png, which isn't a redlink. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 01:09, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
Eh it doesn't matter. That picture was really low-resolution and pretty dull anyways. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 01:10, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

Cowgun And demons[]

You can shoot a demon from Los Demonios and turn it into a demon cow. This is in fact a secret achievement called Moocifer. Commodore Carrot (talk) 04:31, 17 May 2022 (UTC)

That is already known.
And this isn't the proper place to put this. Anonymous230385 Any questions? Wanna talk? 14:56, 17 May 2022 (UTC)

License plate easter eggs[]

I don't know if it was assumed that the unique license plates were rare, but I have encountered no less than 5 unique license plates every time I play the game. I don't know if this was the result of a patch or if it was normal game behavior that was only observed now.

Strangely, I was doing a stunt with a 2019 Vistosa Supercar. When I got into the vehicle, the license plate was 4VA LNCH, but when I completed the stunt, the license plate inexplicably changed into SM4 LL3Y. I don't know if this is a bug or glitch.

I took screenshots of these vehicles with unique license plates on Steam and I would upload them, but my screenshots apparently no longer upload to my hard drive, so I apparently cannot upload any more screenshots ever again.

I don't think they're rare. They just have some that have meanings. GMRE (talk) 12:32, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
