Dome expansion

Contrary to what I expected, when I finished all the domes on the mainland except 1, I went back to the dome on this island and discovered it had not grown at all. In essence, only when all the infestations are complete does the dome suddenly expand in size to cover the entire island.

I found this very unusual. I would think the dome should've expanded every time Rico cleared out an infestation, but no. Apparently they don't expand until all the mainland infestations are complete.

It makes sense to think that in-universe, it would have been gradually growing. And that the enemy would eventually want it to cover the planet. I guess they figured that most wouldn't notice, since Rico would be busy on the mainland for a while. GMRE (talk) 22:09, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
