Rushed this one out pretty hastily once I saw the announcement trailer (started writing about a minute after I saw said trailer). It has some basic information using the JC4 page's format, but feel free to add and change whatever you want. Specman17
- I've added more info, added an infobox and somewhat standardized the article.
- Also, add your signature (just type "~~~~" at the end of your message). Anonymous1234abc (talk) 11:00, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Not sure if this info will ever be confirmed...
There's a very unconfirmed rumor that this game apparently started development before the release of Just Cause 4. GMRE (talk) 22:39, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- Never heard of it, but I think that they started developing before Just Cause 4's release, so it means they didn't make this because of JC4's somewhat poor sales. Take THAT, you –––––ing JC4 haters!
- Reason: Look at the chaos objects. They're duplicates of JC3 chaos objects, not JC4 chaos objects. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 00:26, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Multiplayer
If you didn't notice, there are no enemies in any of the multiplayer game modes. All the players are either shooting at chaos objects or shooting at nothing. What are you supposed to do? Anonymous1234abc (talk) 02:01, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- ...it's multiplayer.
- You fight... other people.
- Have you never played Just Cause 2 or Just Cause 3 Multiplayer? Anonymous230385 Any questions? Wanna talk? 02:20, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- In the trailer, buddy. But you didn't watch it so... what's your point? Anonymous1234abc (talk) 06:04, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
I think both trailers show them fighting some Darkwater soldiers at some point. GMRE (talk) 17:09, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
What happens to the Wiki when the game comes out?
So I was thinking: When this game comes out, how many editors will get it? And out of those editors, how many would be willing to create articles and make major edits on pages? If the answer is a very low number, even when the game is just released and the hype has reached it's climax... will the Wiki's information database even include JC:M?
Let me explain further, without every sentence being a poorly phrased question. Currently, almost half of the community seem to hate the idea of this game before it's even released. I'm confident a lot of people will at least try out the game when it releases, but... I'm pretty sure a lot of Just Cause fans won't get it, either. So if less people gets the game, we'll have less editors who can contribute to JC:M-related articles on the Wiki. And if that happens... will the Wiki's amount of information on JC:M be a lot less than the other games? Anonymous1234abc (talk) 10:59, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Our information will... probably build up a lot slower than usual and be of a poorer quality than usual, because I was the one who wrote 99% of the mission articles for JC3 and JC4. I won't be getting JC:M (because I have a really old-timy phone). I've seen how other people write mission articles before. About 50% of the information will be missing and the rest is likely to be in the wrong order, or something. I'm gonna assume that you'll be one who gets it.
- In any case, I'll make new infoboxes for JC:M missions and locations once the game comes out. Right now we wouldn't know what info fields would be relevant. GMRE (talk) 17:09, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah. I do have a 2-month summer holiday coming up (still in school) so assuming JCM is released by then, I'll try building the JCM part of the Wiki, hopefully with a bunch of other editors that may mess up a lot of the articles, but at least add some information. I don't wanna be lonely. Anonymous1234abc (talk) 00:05, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
Chances are it's going to be delayed again

So much for your run-of-the-mill transport, Sheldon
The game was cancelled 2 months and 4 days ago
