(How fucking sad. Imagine dedicating an entire account to trash talk someone you don't even know, for no real reason. Get a life, kid. Though you're probably, like, 10.)

Ranks and classes

The artbook distinguishes about 9 classes including the 3 Blackhand types upto the Titan with his Vulkan. The voice changer would be a psychological factor adding to the intimidation of the individuals.

 • Private (basic tan with beret)
 • Sniper (hooded)
 • Commander (kepi and gloves)
 • Shock Trooper (beret and vest)
 • Assault Trooper (Vest and ballistic helmet)
 • Demolition (vest with 40mm grenade bandolier, ballistic helmet with NV)
 • Blackhand Ghost (hood, mask, SMGs)
 • Blackhand Aegis (ballistic helmet and AR)
 • Blackhand Titan (full helmet, heavy vest and Urga Vulkan)

Obviously they don't all appear identical to the artwork of Anna Fehr though they're reasonably close overall.

The tapes include detail on a Sergeant-Major, a senior NCO rank which can serve an advisory role to the general staff depending on the definition of SM in the particular military. CeriCat (talk) 12:25, December 9, 2015 (UTC)

What's this about a "Anna Fehr"? Is she the NPC designer for this game?
And BTW, you could add all this to the page. Anonymous230385 Any questions? Wanna talk? 15:36, December 9, 2015 (UTC)
She's an artist who made most of the game artworks. I'm guessing the main people at Avalanche Studios described what they wanted to her. GMRE (talk) 16:40, December 9, 2015 (UTC)
As GMRE said she's one of the concept artists used by Avalanche. I didn't add the data until I got a chance to confirm a few things for myself in game; or someone else had. CeriCat (talk) 20:51, December 9, 2015 (UTC)
M'kay. Just confused. Anonymous230385 Any questions? Wanna talk? 21:33, December 9, 2015 (UTC)

Sergeant-Major

SGM hasn't been a field officer rank for over 2 centuries, who the heck put that in originally? CeriCat (talk) 21:17, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

GMRE
And he is a military specialist
For the record
Dushku was promoted to this rank in the Di Ravello tapes
So what exactly is the problem? Anonymous230385 Any questions? Wanna talk? 21:37, January 19, 2018 (UTC)
What difference does it make if this rank hasn't been used in any real military for a while? It obviously exists in Medici Military, because Di Ravello tapes say so. GMRE (talk) 23:41, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

So...

@TheOtherAnonymous You don't seem to like that big chunk of text I added... why is that? Personally, I don't see any "improper grammar", but I'm not a writer so. AnOnYmOuS1234aBc ('Sup?) 07:30, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

@Anonymous230385 You say my writing has improper grammar. I ask you why. You don't respond even though you're not inactive. And then you lock a bunch of the discussion posts for no apparent reason and remove one of mine, when I'm just trying to help. Since you're not responding I'll restore my edit. And if you undo it again and lock the article without proper explanation I'll have to go get help. AnOnYmOuS1234aBc ('Sup?) 08:10, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
"It seems like only a small portion of them are equipped with grenades as they are rarely seen throwing them. Reasonably, the have very low health and getting hit by a few shots from even the weakest firearms will kill them, considering their complete lack of any body armor whatsoever." The should be they and "lack of body armor" implies different levels of toughness when roughly every Medici Military soldier has roughly an equal amount of health distributed along different parts of the body.
"They can pose a pretty significant threat in small, enclosed areas because of the nature of their weapon" Wrong. Female soldiers are not a very big threat anywhere. Even the Prizrak U4 needs several seconds of sustained fire for Rico to go into the black and white part.
"They spawn also" should be "They also spawn" but the words replaced mean the same thing.
"... which is more dangerous in CQC situations but pose less of a threat in longer-range firefights." What is CQC supposed to mean?
"...in any heat level" 1-5 is more specific.
"Compared to all other NPCs in the game, they are deadly accurate." Snipers actually frankly suck in terms of their aiming in this game (at least on my PC) so this is not representative of everyone's experience. And also pretty much every Medici Military/Black Hand enemy has near perfect aim in this game.
"Even when Rico is on the move, snipers still stand a considerable chance of hitting him." A mobile enemy is still hard to hit, but with enough experience dodging a sniper bullet while on the move is not hard.
"All Urga Postolkas, CS Navajos, CS7 Thunderhawks, U-7 Dravecs, Urga Hrom Ds, Urga Raceks, and even Urga Mstitels in military livery are piloted by them, save for Di Ravello's Golden Urga Mstitel." Passive voice. Not recommended.
"These are essentially upgraded versions of regular male soldiers. They are equipped with a bulletproof vest. They are armed with the better CS Predator assault rifle. Commandos are notably more skilled than regular soldiers, with better aim. They can be sent to combat situations by airborne assault or land vehicles. As they are equipped with body armor, commandos have more health than ordinary soldiers. These use grenades more often and also have a sidearm in their holster but still, that is never used." Commandos still die from one headshot. And if you distribute your bullets evenly across the body, he still dies within seconds. As far as toughness goes, they seem to be about the same as grunts.
"A few of them spawn in military bases, although they are vastly outnumbered by regular soldiers." Every type of soldiers appears in every military base across Medici.
"These are basically African American shotgunners with the Urga Vdova 89 light machine gun and even more combat gear." African American shotgunners? When did Medici employ Americans in their army? Oh right. Never.
"These soldiers are commonly found in military bases near Core Electrical Units, but rarely seen in heat. This makes sense, as they play a more defensive role with their heavy equipment and slow speed." Actually it doesn't make sense. Such a heavy duty soldier can be seen deployed often in Insula Striate due to how important the region is.
"Rockets are capable of doing massive amounts of damage to Rico should they explode near him. If directly hit by an RPG, armored vehicles that Rico or rebels are in will suffer considerable damage. Like snipers," Irrelevant beginning sentence. This is about the soldier and not his weapon. "An" should be "a." And actually Rico and rebel vehicles still need over 4 RPG rounds for the vehicle to catch fire. That's very less than "considerable damage."
"These soldiers are considerably rare, being found only occasionally in military bases." Actually they are not rare. Vigilator Nord, Cima Leon: Transmitter, Le Galera, and a couple other bases have them.
"(being the unforgiving and sadistic brat, Di Ravello forced him to)" Opinion not needed to maintain article neutrality.
"get help." You know if you're going to report me to FANDOM staff for admin abuse, your own edits have been questionable too.
Fluff edits, incorrect English, and putting pointless information in places that don't need to be added there
You ought to be ashamed of yourself for disobeying an admin.
