Regarding the Triva: The comment about them building an airport there is reasonable. Airports, especially military types, existed in 1915. They were called aerodromes, but typically they were dirt or grass affairs and over time they were expanded and made into something more substantial. 73.98.196.203

They did exist, yes, but as you just mentioned yourself, they were mere dirt and grass fields. So if Vulture is from that time, it must have only consisted of a dirt runway on the mountain and a few buildings. GMRE (talk) 18:12, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
