Tasik Jernih is a village in Just Cause 2.

Description

The name means "Clear Lake" in Malaysian. The village is located along a road and is pretty large. There are a lot of wooden cabins here, as well as more modern two-floor homes and small slum shacks. High-end tourist bungalows are here, but it is unlikely that this is a tourist settlement. The village stretches out unusually long, around 800m, and has one checkpoint on each side of it, each of them with a Hamaya Oldman. In the middle of the village there's a marketplace and also a Gas Station for boats. Also in the middle goes a valley to the nearby lake, which most likely gave the village its name.

It is in the southern part of the Panau Tengah Bay province, at X:16200 Y:22040.

Mission

During the featured mission, a "silo" belonging to the Reapers is located here. It is actually a small variant of an Oil Cistern, even if it is a little taller and also marked with the Reaper symbol. It will stay there until you leave the area, then it disappears. See the mission article for further information.
