The Dragon is a DLC weapon in Just Cause 4.
Origin competition
It was announced on October 4th, 2018 that fans could design a weapon for Just Cause 4 and submit the design into a competition. Rules listed here and here.
As quoted from the first link:
- "1. Select the 'Get started' button below to log in or create a Square Enix Members account."
- "2. Upload your weapon design along with your suggested name and a brief description. All designs must be in one of the following formats: .jpeg, .png, .gif, and .bmp"
- "3. Entries are accepted from 10/01/18 through 10/31/18."
- "4. In collaboration with Avalanche Studios, 5 designs will be selected for fan voting."
- "5. Fan voting on the final winning weapon will take place from 11/26/18 through 12/02/18."
- "6. Square Enix & GameStop will announce the winning weapon on December 3rd."
- "7. Everyone who pre-orders or purchases Just Cause 4 from GameStop through 12/10/18 will receive the winning weapon DLC for free once it’s available."
- "8. In order to sign up to receive the free DLC, please return to this site starting 12/03/18 and enter the 16 digit code that was printed on your receipt (for in-store pick up) or email (for online purchases)."

Description of the winner design
An imported firework launcher originally intended to ring in the Panauan New Year.
Primary fire:
- Launches fireworks in a straight line.
- Once the fireworks hit an object, it sticks to it and emanate sparks for around 5 seconds.
- Sparks damage and stun enemies.
- After 5 seconds the fireworks explode.
- Launches bundle of fireworks in an arc.
- Firework bundle doesn't detonate until damaged.
- Can be tethered.
- Once detonated, it launches several fireworks in all directions.
Location
Once the DLC is purchased and downloaded, it will be available at the supply drop.
