The Secret of Vis Electra is a mission in Just Cause 3.
Introduction[]
Mission briefing on the map: "Dimah has discovered a connection between the ruined power plant Vis Electra and the powerful Airstrike FOW that protects the main tower of Di Ravello's central command base, Cima Leon. Rico meets her to see what chaos he can sow in the system."
It is advised to bring lots of grenades and rocket-launcher ammunition.
Walkthrough[]
Meet Dimah at a small platform next to a large hole in the ground. She'll tell you that the nearby pipeline is transporting power for the FOW weapon and that there must be a "command node" at the other end, the destruction of which would disable the node.
Follow the pipeline. It will reach a lake where the end of the pipe is guarded by a Medici Military Custode 29 and CS Powerrun 77. Don't waste any explosive weapons on them.
The end of the pipe is under water at a large round blast door. Once Rico reached it, Dimah will remotely open it. Swim into it. The underwater tunnel has an air pocket in the middle, so get air. The tunnel will lead to an unguarded facility in a cave. The facility has several scientists working. Rico asks if they are Dimah's friends, but she explains that she does not have time for friends and that they are perhaps colleagues.
There is a large blast door in the room, which leads to a similarly large room. That room is guarded by several soldiers. Again, don't waste explosive weapons.
At the back of the room are 3 enormous machines that resemble internal combustion engines. They must be blown up. The machines can take lots of damage before blowing up. If you're low on ammunition, notice that there's some Red Barrels next to the machines on both sides. Grappling these to the machines will save some ammunition. The machines explode with a bright blue light. Alternatively, just use GE-64 on the machines.
Once the machines are gone, Dimah will explain that the FOW weapon at Cima Leon is disabled. She will open another round blast door in the side of the room to let you out through a short tunnel.
Trivia[]
- The Medici Military boats in this mission seem different than usual ones in this mission.
- They don't spawn there normally since it is a lake and no boat traffic is seen there, even during free roam.
- The machine guns seem to deal a lot more damage than usual. If Rico sustains continuous fire from them for seven seconds, he will enter the critical zone (black and white screen). Usually, this only happens after at least 10 seconds. However, it could just be that three machine guns deal a lot of damage anyway to one target.
