The Tuk-Tuk Boom Boom is a vehicle in Just Cause 4.
See Tuk-Tuk Boom Boom (JC2) for the original Just Cause 2 version.
Appearance[]
It's a weaponized version of the Ritmo Rickshaw and a successor to the vehicle of same name in JC2. This vehicle is based on a different rickshaw, so it has its own article.
It looks like a usual Ritmo Rickshaw, just with the walls and roof removed and replaced by an autoloaded cannon on top of a large tripod. The cannon seems to be a smaller version of the one found on the Longbow Cannon Truck.
There are two fuel canisters and two backpacks hanging on the sides and rear of the vehicle. The backpacks swing a little when the vehicle moves.
Flipping it on its side reveals that the engine is the same as on a standard Rickshaw.
Just like the standard Ritmo Rickshaw, it's available in multiple colors, but the paint is always damaged.
Performance[]
Very similar to its base Ritmo Rickshaw, but noticeably more powerful. It can do doughnuts where the base vehicle just slows down to a near stop.
It's equipped with nitros, but it has the weakest nitros boost of all vehicles in Just Cause 4. In universe it may be the result of the engine already being tuned to its full potential.
The cannon has 300 shells. Firing it will always create a dust cloud around the vehicle and sends small rocks flying.
Despite its lack of armor, thanks to its mobility it still has a relatively high combat effectiveness.
Locations[]
This vehicle was added to the game on 2019.08.15 as a part of the free "Legacy Pack" Downloadable content for Just Cause 4.
- Only at the supply drop.
Trivia[]
- According to the company logo at the lower right corner of the HUD, it's made by Armadillo.
- It seems to spawn in more tuk-tuks than would usually be found in the open world. This includes traffic and random parking spaces.
- There are designs of the older version of this vehicle on some of Dimah's desks. This implies that she worked on, or even made the original Tuk-Tuk Boom Boom.
