Vehicle wrecks, or just wrecks, are a type of Stationary vehicles in the Just Cause game series.

JC3 destroyed vehicles at junkyard 2

A junkyard at Insula Striate.

Description

These wrecked vehicles are completely destroyed by default. They are not even actually programmed as vehicles and they only serve as pieces of scenery.

Another type of special vehicles are the Amphibious vehicles.

List of wrecks in JC3

Vehicle name / main article Details and other facts Locations
Mugello Raffinati Vitesse Mario Frigo owns a unique red Mugello Raffinati Vitesse.
The car is surrounded by spare parts. As revealed in mission cut-scenes,
Mario is slowly restoring it. See the Mario Frigo article for full info.
At Granmatre Frigo's house.
Mugello Raffinati Vitesse It looks burned/rusted and has many missing components. At several junkyards and possibly at a few burned towns north of the Insula Striate wall.
  • Junkyard at N 40 46.280 E 3 37.620.
Stria Facocero/Toro It looks burned/rusted and has many missing components. At several junkyards and possibly at a few burned towns north of the Insula Striate wall.
  • Junkyard at N 40 46.280 E 3 37.620.
Stria Facocero/Stria Toro Front end only.
Stria Joia (Medici Police Department) It looks burned/rusted and has many missing components. At many locations all over Medici.
Stria Infimo S It looks burned/rusted and has many missing components. At several junkyards and possibly at a few burned towns north of the Insula Striate wall.
  • Junkyard at N 40 46.280 E 3 37.620.
Stria Campania 115 It looks burned/rusted and has many missing components.
Urga Fura 570 The vehicles don't have any specific points of war damage,
but considering the locations of the vehicles, most of them were
probably destroyed in some military action. The destruction of the ones
north of the Insula Striate wall happened during The burning of the north.
CS Odjur Possibly the first destroyed vehicle seen in the game is the unique
destroyed CS Odjur in the mission Welcome Home. It looks destroyed,
but the turret is still usable. Using it is optional in the mission.
CS Odjur Completely destroyed. Somehow even the gun barrel has multiple corners in it.
It's unknown how they were destroyed, but most of them must have been destroyed
in some military action. The destruction of the ones north of
the Insula Striate wall happened during The burning of the north.
Mile High Club / Large ships in Medici / Easter Eggs in Just Cause 3 Very rusted and otherwise decayed remains of the Mile High Club airship from Just Cause 2. The ship is mostly under water. 40 49.050 E 5 36.775. At a beach at the northern coast of Maestrale, near the two islands.
Unnamed aircraft carrier at Grotta Contrabandero / Large ships in Medici The ship has broken a part, like the Titanic. The front end is at an upward angle and
the rest of the ship is under water. About a half of the ship is actually under ground and
possibly even under/inside the nearest mountain. How this is possible is unknown.
Strangely, the front end has a rudder pointing forward. No real ship has ever had this rudder position.
The ship itself shares a strong resemblace to the real Aircraft Carrier "HMS Ark Royal" which really did sink in the mediterranean during WW2.
For full info see Grotta Contrabandero.
Grotta Contrabandero.
Urga Mstitel A destroyed golden Urga Mstitel appears at the Volcano island in Medici
after the last storyline mission. To avoid spoilers, see details at the mission article: Son of Medici.
Co-ordinates are N 40 51.176; E 5 27.487.

Inside the crater of the Volcano island in Medici laying on a cliff.

Urga Mstitel A crashed golden Urga Mstitel is in the mountains of Insula Striate.
Who it belonged to and why it crashed are unknown.
About half way between Falco Maxime: Centcom and the warehouse that contains the sports cars.
CS Navajo Completely destroyed. It's unknown how they were destroyed, but their destruction happened during The burning of the north. At least 3 of them are at the burned towns north of the Insula Striate wall.
Stria Obrero Completely destroyed. The destruction of the ones north of the Insula Striate wall happened during The burning of the north.
Imperator Bavarium Tank The one hijacked in the mission An Act of Piracy is disassembled by Zeno.
Zeno works on it during a few missions. Dimah is also working on reverse engineering it, but Zeno is the only one working hands on.
CS Powerrun 77 Completely rusty, but no other damage. These are always on dry land and there's stairs at the rear end. Sometimes there's an Urga Vulkan with a tripod on it.

List of wrecks in JC3 Bavarium Sea Heist

The Bavarium Sea Heist DLC adds several unique wrecks. They're all in the Scolio area.

Vehicle name / main article Details and other facts Locations
Very rusty and broken ship hull So rusty that most components are gone and it's difficult to tell what it used to be. There's a few rusted shipping containers in/under the wreck. A few meters west of the deeper end of the wreck is an open-ended container. The container has a cardboard box which can be pushed to float to the surface. Once destroyed, 8 rubber ducks pop out and Rico yells "Freedom!" This is an easter egg. On the eastern edge of the Scolio area. At about N 40 45.745; E 5 31.500. It's unknown if it was there before the Bavarium Sea Heist, or if the DLC added it.
Other aircraft carrier It's just like the above carrier, but the flight deck is more horizontal, the anchors are up and the bridge section is also missing. Near the Stingray dock. Easily spotted from the air. Coordinates are N 40 45.290; E 5 30.205.
Other Mile High Club It looks identical to the Mile High Club, so it must be a ship of the same class. The wreck is at a steep angle with its front pointing at least 70 degrees up. The rear end is either under ground due to soft soil, or torn off and somewhere else. Co-ordinates are N 40 45.260; E 5 29.975. It's on the western side of the Stingray, where the water suddenly becomes deeper.
Big metallic fin This is believed to be a part of the Mile High Club wreck.

It is standing upright, therefore it's a bit hard to spot.

Co-ordinates are N 40 45.235; E 5 30.135. It's between the aircraft carrier and the obelisk ruins.
Component of the Mile High Club It's one of the arms that used to hold the balloons. Co-ordinates are N 40 45.200; E 5 30.095.

A little to the west of the big metallic fin.

Golden Urga Mstitel Seems crashed, like the other Golden Urga Mstitel wrecks.

It seems to have it's wings missing with one laying near it.

Co-ordinates are N 40 45.310; E 5 30.035. Under the Stingray.

List of wrecks in JC4

Solís has more wrecks than any Other countries in the Just Cause universe. At least every other town has a junkyard with about 10 civilian car wrecks. Many villages even have wrecks of military vehicles, like the Reptile AAV and Falconer AA Tank.

A few missions, like most notably Operation Sandstinger use piles of civilian vehicle wrecks as obstacles and barricades that must be blown up.

Because wrecks are now very common it is pointless to try to list all their locations. The following is only a list of some of the most unusual wrecks:
