Vico Platessa is a settlement in Just Cause 3.

Description

This village appears to be a small fishing type, located on a narrow strip of land between the coast and a large cliff face with a lone house on top. It has a lighthouse that is built within a dirt roundabout, which serves as both the road entry and exit for the village. However there is no road within the village itself, but strangely there is a wreck just inside the village arch. To the north, Arco Sperantia looms above on yet another cliff.

There is a Di Ravello tape on top of the lighthouse.

It is speculated that the population of this village is probably almost big enough to be a town. As such, its population is between 75 and 100.

In-game map description: "Vico Platessa is home to Medici's oldest lighthouse keeper Luis Berillos. At ninety-eight years old, Berillos credits his longevity to regular physical activity, a diet rich in flounder, and an all-consuming hatred for those bastardos in Vico Maquerello."

This town is most famous for being the location of the DK Pistol.

Just south of the town about 25 feet down underwater there is a massive stone bastion akin to the structures at Corda Dracon and Albeto Pero. The bastion seems to be a part of the landscape. Since the water level in the Mediterranean Sea has not changed since the last ice-age, it can only be explained by there having been some major geologic event in Medici that changed the landscape.

Location

It is located on the north-west side of the province of Trio in Insula Dracon. One side of the town has high mountains and the other side has some kind of a stone pier.

Trivia

• The DK Pistol is located in this village. This is considered to be one of the Easter Eggs in Just Cause 3.
• This is one of the quickest settlements to liberate in Just Cause 3.
