The Warrior Offroader is a vehicle in Just Cause 4.

This article includes the "Python Offroader" and other sub-versions.

Appearance[]

It is an MV-type lightly armored off-road car. It is commonly used by the Black Hand and Army of Chaos. It is armored all around and features heavy-duty tires for off-roading. The glass around the vehicle is bulletproof.

A spare wheel is mounted on the rear wall. The Army of Chaos version differs by having a lot of equipment tied to the vehicle and by having the spare wheel on the left side, near the rear corner.

Performance[]

The Warrior Offroader has quick acceleration and good brakes. Handling is quick and accurate, allowing this vehicle to be primed for many situations. It is very durable and extremely capable in off-road situations. It can drive in water up to about the windshield, implying that it has a sort of snorkel system dispite not having any visual indication of a snorkel kit. All glass is bulletproof.

Despite it being a bit armored, it can still be easily blown up after a few seconds of machine gun fire, or one explosive weapon.

All of them have nitrous, except for the "Python Offroader" DLC one, which instead is weaponized.

Trivia[]

  • The Warrior Offroader can be considered the spiritual successor to the MV and its variants in Just Cause and Just Cause 2, as well as the Urga Szturm 63A from JC3.
    • Contrary to these vehicles, Warrior Offroaders used by the major factions are always unarmed, since the Cavalry Armored Truck supersedes its role as an armed infantry mobility vehicle. The Python Offroader's custom armament does not qualify, being driver-operated offensive weapons rather than a defensive turret that is separately manned.
    • For this reason, it, alongside the Pugilista SUV, could also be seen as a successor to the Weimaraner as an unarmed and lightly armored off-roader used for lighter duty applications.
  • The AoC variant's spare wheel is mounted at a rather awkward location. Side-mounted spare wheels do exist for older vehicles like the 1940 Jeep but were prone to accidents and was eventually outlawed. The Warrior Offroader is a much larger vehicle, so the chance of the spare wheel hitting vehicles in the opposite lane is even larger, in addition to it blocking the view from the left mirror.
