Watasumag is a city in Just Cause 4.
Description[]
The in-game map description states: "A hub for Solino tourists exploring all the sanitized history and culture the Wanay has to offer."
Watasumag is one of the few three cities in the rainforest along with Quya and Villanueva.
The city is on 3 islands and the mainland.
Points of interest:
- Cargo port on the easternmost island.
- Construction site on the first island coming from the mainland.
- Espetrol station.

- Wingsuit Stunt - Pass through the rings under 20 seconds.
- Boat Stunt - Pass through the ring in a Kerner Brise 42. This stunt may be considered difficult by some people, but use some well-placed balloons to carry the boat through the ring. Moving the suspended crate might be necessary.
- Speed Stunt - Pass through the ring faster than 90 km/h. Some people might consider this stunt one of the more difficult speed stunts. There is a ramp, but a big Wheel Loader is behind it, so any car that drives off the ramp might crash into the wheel loader. You can move the loader out of the way, but the biggest problem is the placement of the ring - it is placed in the hole in the constructing building's structure. The ramp's angle makes the car fly off it and ram into the wall just above the hole and the ring. Driving slowly will flatten out the trajectory of the car when airborne, but this might slow it down below 90 km/h. You can attempt driving through the ring from behind, but no car can accelerate to 90km/h in the short distance of the width of the building. One can keep trying the ramp and different vehicles until success, or use a PA Microfighter to fly through the hole with wings folded. This, however, requires extreme precision.
- There are two easier ways to do this stunt. One may work for you, while the other may not.
- Use a buggy, and pop one (not two) of the back tires. This will make the buggy steer poorly, but also stops it from picking up too much momentum. If done correctly, it will go through the ring at over 80km/h. This may still take a few tries. Make sure not to pop both as the buggy will be too slow to complete the stunt.
- Use a motorcycle, preferably with nitrous.

- Mugello Pescespada SX.
- There is a somewhat sunken Barco Roro Ferry at one location (near the northern island). Despite being almost entirely under water, it's not a wreck. The mast is above water and the radar is still spinning. If Rico approaches it, it will rise out of the water. As such, this is some kind of glitched spawn point. Slightly north of this spot (at a beach) are 2 civilians who mistakenly spawn in the water.
- Wheel Loader.
Trivia[]
- The city's name translates to "beautiful year", derived from the Quechua words wata (year) and sumaq (beautiful).
- The speed stunt and the boat stunt could be tricky to do.
- As a city divided into four regions and connected by bridges, this city is a vaguely similar to Panau City, the capital of Panau.
- In Panau City one region is fully dedicated to the port, as seen in Watasumag.
