The Yellowstone Auto Sniper is a weapon featured in the Danger Rising DLC for Just Cause 4.

Appearance[]

It is a sniper rifle with Agency faction colors (white, grey and orange) and a relatively small scope. The image to the right shows it having a super long barrel, but it is normal in the final released version.

This weapon somewhat resembles a nerf gun.

Performance[]

As its name suggests, the Yellowstone Auto Sniper is an automatic sniper rifle that sports high damage and surprisingly high fire rate for a sniper rifle. It is fully automatic, which means the player can hold down the trigger and it will keep firing until the mag runs empty. However, doing so makes the weapon much less accurate, so it is advised to shoot it like a normal sniper rifle (single shot) when going for long distance precision shots. Bullet velocity is incredibly slow for a sniper, and drop is significant across longer ranges. With the full-auto capability, this weapon is a versatile sniper rifle, but the base game's sniper rifles (LRD-3 Sniper and PBX Super-Sniper 4) are much better options for long distance sniping.

Its secondary fire deploys a large drone that will assist Rico in combat by attacking enemies with its mounted machine guns. The drone can be guided to the direction Rico is looking by holding down the secondary fire button.

You can also transform it into a UCAV by attaching a manually detonated explosive payload. Switch to the mine launcher, attach the explosives and using the secondary fire button guide the drone next to your target, then switch back to the mine launcher and detonate. This is apparently useful against enemies behind cover, or turrets. The turrets keep facing you, making it difficult to damage the rear weak spot but are easily circumvented this way.
